BLAST MITIGATION PERFORMANCE

Engineered to meet stringent performance standards, our products comply with GSA/ISC security design criteria, Department of Defense UFC 4-010-01, and ASTM blast requirements.

HURRICANE RESISTANCE PERFORMANCE
For buildings in coastal regions and high-wind zones, our hurricane impact-resistant systems are designed to protect people and property from windborne debris, wind-driven rain, and extreme weather conditions, all while supporting a complete, code-compliant building envelope.
Engineered for compatibility and ease of installation, our curtain wall, storefront, entrance and window systems are tested to meet the demands of severe storm environments. This includes compliance with the Florida Building Code’s impact and cyclic pressure requirements, as well as applicable TAS and ASTM standards.
Choose from systems approved by the Florida Product Approval (FPA), Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), and certified for use in High Velocity Hurricane Zones (HVHZ). Our experienced architectural and technical teams work closely with you to ensure your project specifications are fully met from early design to final installation.
Hurricane Resistance Products
HUMAN RESISTANT
Our Hurricane Resistant systems are for use on low-rise single span applications in hurricane impact areas. The system meets the requirements of Florida Building Code High Velocity Hurricane (HVHZ) Zone 4 – large missile impact and cycling [ASTM E1886-05 / 1996-09, TAS 201-94 and TAS 203-94]. Features include screw spline frame construction, exterior center set glazing, heavy duty vertical mullion, and accepts 1-5/16″ insulated laminated glass installed using wet-glazed or dry-glazed method. ForceFront Storm Curtainwall (FFS-CW) and Medium and Monumental Entrance Doors and windows compliment the storefront, providing a complete hurricane resistant system that’s easy to fabricate and install.
