Designed for energy-efficient, commercial and multifamily buildings, EFCO 2700 Series high thermal performance, aluminum-framed windows are engineered for demanding project specifications and a variety of architectural styles.

The 2700 series is available in projected and fixed configurations. EFCO 2700 PO Awning project-out windows are hinged at the top, opening at the bottom, away from the exterior wall. They feature:

• Thermally broken framing and sash with insulating thermal barrier
• AAMA AW110PG
• 2″ aluminum frame depth with 3-3/16″ sight line
• Allowance for 1″ monolithic glazing, dual- and triple-glazed IGUs or infill panels
• Accessible operation per AAMA 513
• Optional integral window blinds, subframes, mullions, screens, sills and other hardware
• Factory-fabricated, pre-glazed units with pressure-equalized design
• Mortise-and-tenon aluminum frame construction with mitered and angle-reinforced window corners

Supporting energy-efficient, code-compliant projects, this thermal awning window is approved through the National Fenestration Rating Council’s Component Modeling Approach (CMA) Product Certification Program. In addition, an environmental product declaration (EPD per ISO 14025 and 21930) is available for this system, further supporting sustainable project goals.

Along with stringent testing for air, water, structural and thermal performance, 2700 Series windows deliver condensation resistance, forced entry resistance and sound attenuation, supporting occupant comfort, safety and well-being.
