ForceFront Blast® Standard Wide Stile Entrance

Designed for blast mitigation in government, public, civic, office, healthcare, education and other commercial buildings with light to moderate traffic, Tubelite ForceFront® Blast (FFB) Standard Wide Stile Entrance systems:

•  Meet high levels of hazard mitigation for Department of Defense (DoD), General Service Administration (GSA) and Veterans Affairs (VA) projects
• Are tested to withstand blast loads up to 36.4 psi / 84.0 psi-msec (76’ standoff charge weight I and 32’ standoff charge weight II) in accordance with UFC 4-010-01

These blast-mitigating entrances feature:

• 4′ by 8′ single doors with tie-rod construction
• 1-3/4″ by 5″ vertical stiles and top rail
• 10″ bottom rail for ADA compliance
• Allowance for several thicknesses of laminated glazing and laminated IGUs
• A choice of glazing methods, sills, mid-rails and hardware
• Optional heavy wall extrusions and steel reinforcing

Tubelite offers in-house technical assistance to support each project, which must be analyzed separately for compliance with its unique factors.

Tubelite architectural aluminum entrances use a steel tie rod construction that is both strong and flexible, and backed with a lifetime warranty. As durable as welded corner construction, tie-rod assembly offers additional advantages, allowing the doors to be modified, disassembled or resized right in the field.

Our entrances systems easily integrate with Tubelite blast-mitigating storefront and curtain wall systems. Durable anodized and painted finishes provide long-lasting protection and color options.
