Hosted by the BSA, a chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and its Building Enclosure Council (BEC), the event is inspired by the work of Wagdy Anis, FAIA, LEED AP (1941-2018) . The symposium’s educational sessions concentrate on how to design solutions for retrofitting existing buildings to improve their energy performance, mitigating climate change through reduction in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
